What columns does Manio add to my workbook?

Manio adds Date, Description (cleaned payee name), Amount (BRL), Type (Pix, TED, boleto, debit, credit card), Account (source bank), and Transaction ID (for deduplication). You can configure custom columns per mapping, including category, currency, counterparty, MCC, and installments for cards.

Can I use an existing Excel workbook?

Yes. During setup, you sign in with your Microsoft account and pick any existing workbook in your OneDrive, or let Manio create a new one. You choose which worksheet receives the transactions.

Is the sync real-time?

Syncing is periodic: daily on the Trial plan and every 8 hours on Pro. When you open your workbook in the morning, you'll see the previous day's transactions already appended.

Does Manio create duplicate rows?

No. Manio deduplicates server-side using a unique Transaction ID, so each transaction is written only once even if the bank returns it multiple times. New rows are always appended in chronological order.

Can I sync to Excel and YNAB at the same time?

Yes. Manio supports multiple destinations simultaneously. You can send the same bank data to Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, YNAB, and Notion all at once.

I have encoding issues with my bank's CSV exports. Does Manio fix that?

Open Finance data is standardized by the Central Bank: dates are ISO 8601, amounts are numeric, and text uses UTF-8. No more broken accents or garbled characters from CSV downloads opened in Excel.

Does Manio sync credit card transactions to Excel?

Yes. When you connect your bank via Open Finance, both your checking account and credit card are included in the consent. Every credit card purchase, including individual installments, appears automatically in your worksheet with date, amount, and payee.

Does Manio work with a work or school Office 365 account?

Yes. Manio supports both personal Microsoft accounts (Outlook, Hotmail) and work or school Office 365 accounts. The workbook lives in your OneDrive and Manio reads and writes through the official Microsoft Graph API.
