Is it safe to connect my bank account?

Yes. Manio connects through Open Finance Brasil, the data-sharing system regulated and audited by the Banco Central do Brasil. You authorise the connection on your bank's own screen, so Manio never sees your password. The token your bank issues is read-only, which means transfers, Pix and payments are not technically possible. You can revoke access at any time from your bank's app.

Can Manio make transactions or move money?

No. Open Finance issues a read-only token to Manio. We can read transactions and balances, but we cannot initiate Pix, TED, boletos, or any financial operation. That capability simply isn't part of the token your bank gave us.

Which banks are supported?

Manio supports any bank connected to Brazil's Open Finance ecosystem, including Nubank, Itaú, Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, Santander, Inter, C6 Bank, and many more. New banks are added automatically as they join Open Finance.

Which budgeting apps can I sync to?

You can sync your transactions to YNAB (You Need A Budget), Google Sheets, Notion, Lunch Money, and Actual Budget. We're constantly adding new destinations based on user demand.

How often do transactions sync?

Accepted Answer

On the free plan, transactions sync once per day. On the paid plan, transactions sync every 8 hours, so your budget stays up to date throughout the day.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time with no cancellation fees. Your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period, then revert to the free plan.
