What data gets synced to my YNAB budget?

Manio syncs transaction amounts in BRL, settlement dates, cleaned merchant names (so YNAB's auto-categorization works better), transaction types (Pix, TED, boleto, debit, credit card), and account balances for reconciliation.

How long does setup take?

About 10 minutes. Most of that time is spent on the bank's Open Finance consent screen. Once connected, syncing is fully automatic: daily on Trial, every 8 hours on Pro.

Can I connect multiple banks to one YNAB budget?

Yes. You can connect checking accounts, savings, and credit cards from different Brazilian banks and map each one to the corresponding account in your YNAB budget.

Is my bank data secure?

Manio uses Brazil's regulated Open Finance framework, which grants read-only access to your transactions. Your bank password is never shared. You authorize directly on your bank's consent screen. You can revoke access anytime.

What happens if I cancel Manio?

All transactions already synced to YNAB stay there permanently. Only new transactions stop syncing. Your YNAB budget is never affected.
